| Purpose We seek to glorify God through LIFE. We strive to Love every student, Invite them to follow Christ, Find and meet their needs in the community, and Encourage their spiritual growth. We pursue this through a balanced ministry that focuses on five biblical principles: Worship: Everything that we do for students is centered on bringing glory to God. We believe that as God's creation everyone exists for and finds their life's purpose in worshipping God. We believe that corporately and individually this can be expressed through song, giving, teaching or anything else that brings Him honor. I Corinthians 10:31 Fellowship: We seek to create environments and opportunities for students to build real, lasting, and loving relationships with one another and with adults who care. We believe that the Christian life is not easy and we all need support and true friendship to be effective. Evangelism: We believe that the most important thing anyone does after they become a follower of Christ is to share with others how they too can become a Christian. Jesus' command to make disciples is clear, and sharing one's faith is an act of loving concern for another person's eternity. Ministry: We believe that the most effective way to reach students is to find and meet their needs. It is in serving students' felt needs that we can communicate God's love for them in a real and tangible way. Discipleship: We believe that a student's spiritual life grows and matures much like their physical life. It is a basic and fundamental principle that in order for a student to grow in their walk with Christ they must be taught to understand God's message to them, His word. We seek to help students build an understanding of what the Bible teaches and why they should believe it. |
